Sorry I was unable to join the net.

Regarding the copying of calls, if you didn’t already, I would suggest that you firmly request the use of standard ITU phonetics, either before or after giving the straight call sign (as “N-0-A-B-C”). It will slow things down just a tad, allowing the net control to jot it down, and have immediate confirmation. Of course, if the net control reads off what he/she has taken down, then corrections can be made as necessary.

  For a first cruise,  I think we did pretty well.
  As I suspected,  copying down the calls as they came in was hard to get used to.   Even for the familiar ones.  At least, I got my own call correct!

I received two feedback reports about the net last night, one was a suggestion I will include in the next net and the other was very positive. I like to hear how folks liked/disliked how the net went especially the info about the club and activities.
