Well, I enjoyed myself immensely.

However, I thought the band conditions were rather poor on Saturday 
afternoon and night.  Very few really strong signals.
A big plus was that the atmospheric noise (from distant thunderstorms) 
was way down from last year.  I remember that last year, the noise level 
on 80 meters was around S9 + 20 -- couldn't even hear any signals on 80 
m., until after around 2 AM.
Think the noise level was running S7 or lower this FD.

My highlight was working Hawaii on 80 meter CW.  I still don't think the 
Butternut is functioning as well on 80 as it should.  I'm wondering, 
when Ed installed radials, if he installed any for 80 meters.  I'll have 
to ask him the next time I see him.
