Mike,

The 2 meter net idea just recently came up and looks promising. Why not hold off on six meters until we obtain 2 meter results.

Well that will leave me out as I ONLY have 2 M and 70 CM and possibly
(?) some new hams as USUALLY most new
Hams jump straight into 2 M or 440 as their equipment inventory/ budget
is limited! Thanks to the previous presidents
UNAffordable "LACK" of Care Act when I shake my piggy bank moths usually
scurry away!
Doesn't the Thursday night 10 meter net usually hop around to 2 M and
other SSB Freq's??? I don't usually pay the UTMOST
attention as not having the equipment to participate makes it a moot
point for me!

While I've let my PPRAA membership lapse (time and health matters, both
temporary I hope), here is my two cents worth:

(1) I don't think anyone is suggesting that PPRAA have a 6 meter net to
the exclusion of any other net. If that were the case, I would urge
PPRAA to have as many nets as members want on all the bands.

(2) It would also be odd for PPRAA to restrict its net operations to
only those nets that all members can access. We all have limitations. If
PPRAA restricts its activities to only those things that everyone can
participate in, then PPRAA necessarily would forego providing
challenging and pleasurable growth opportunities to the bulk of its members.

So, I see no reason why PPRAA should not add a 6 meter net if a
significant number of its members wish.
