Jack, WMØG is the ARRL Colorado Section Manager and will be the speaker at
our June 8th PPRAA meeting.  

 

Jack’s interest in ham radio was sparked while earning the Boy Scout Radio
merit badge when working towards his Eagle rank in Boy Scouts.  Jack was
originally licensed 57 years ago in 1958 as a Novice, KN1IVY, while living
in Providence, RI. When he upgraded to General Class the “N” was dropped
from the call to became K1IVY.  

 

Jack is a Vietnam Veteran serving in the USAF. After leaving the Air Force,
he took a 20 year hiatus from ham radio and in 1987, he re-tested in
Boulder, CO and received my current WMØG Extra Class call.
