[PPRAANet] Another exciting trip to the Club Station this Weekend!

Everyone,


  Since we put so much effort into the last workday at the site and got the 4X4X4 tower base hole dug, this coming Saturday, we will again form a work crew and finish the job.  What's left to do, you might ask?  We need to dig the three slanted holes for the guy anchors.  KD0NQM, Jim, will be bringing the power auger to do the heavy lifting, but it will take a few people to operate it to get the correct angle and depth for proper placement of the guy anchors.  Lots of jobs for lots of people.  The more who can show, the less strain on the senior citizens who have been doing the majority of the work in the past.

  Just in case our plan doesn't work out, please bring your shovels and work gloves and spud bars (not a potato candy item) so we can do the job by hand.  Never know if an auger will be available.

  We will try to be on site by 8:00 AM again to make sure that everything is ready to go when the auger arrives.

  Last time, we had the club treasury buy lunch for us.  That was nice!  This time, as a change, lets bring a brown bag lunch and save the club some money.  That way, we can have what we like and save the club some money.

  Ed has notified us that the guy anchors are built and ready to go.  If we knew exactly how long it would take to dig the holes, we could arrange for the concrete truck to be right there.  If we run onto a problem however, we won't be ready for the concrete and will be charged for a trip and concrete we can't use.  Not a good idea.  We'll arrange the pour at a later date.
