All,

I have three items that I don't have time to repair. Maybe you do...?

1. Pioneer CT-F750 Auto-Reverse Stereo Cassette Deck
This machine has a brushed-chrome front panel and black cabinet.
It is capable of Standard, CrO2, FeCr and Metal cassette tapes.
I used it a few years ago to record programs off of broadcast radio.
Suddenly, it will rewind, but will not play, fast-forward or reverse
direction.
Maybe it needs a new belt, I don't know.

2. Sony CMT-EX1 Compact Component System
This is a desktop stereo that receives AM and FM/stereo and has separate
speakers.
It also plays CDs with either *.wav or *.mp3 format, including homemade
ones.
I had it in my office for two years, and one day it didn't "click" when I
switched it on.
My guess is that a relay that protects the speakers is not picking up;
it still plays just fine through headphones.

3. Gateway HD2201 widescreen computer monitor, 22" diagonal
Stickers on the frame specify "1680 x 1050" and "Inputs: HDMI, DVI, VGA".
On the back, it says, "VESA 100 mm Mount Compatible".
I connected a camcorder to the HDMI input and switched it on;
the screen lights up for a second or two and then goes nearly dark.
Could it be a power supply issue?

Again, I don't have time to troubleshoot any further or to fix the problems.
If you do, I would really like to give these items to you!

73,

Steve Schaar... K0CI
