[PPRAANet] Remembering Hiram Percy Maxum event Feb 17, 2016

Wednesday Feb 17, 2016 will be the 80th anniversary of the death of Hiram 
Percy Maxum,(W1AW), father of the ARRL. Riding a train from the west coast to 
the east coast he fell ill and was taken off the train in La Junta Colorado 
Feb 16, 1936 and died there on Feb 17. I contacted the ARRL and they sent 
me a picture to use in a certificate for the event planned for Feb 17, 2016.
 
I will be operating from Ellicott and another group (AF0S) will be 
traveling to La Junta.
 
I will be at the Ellicott site about 9am and run until about 4pm on Feb 17 
and start as soon as the station is set up.If you would like to join in the
