     Received this via DLARC forum from my old club back home. I am 
certain that no one in our club would do such a thing. What
really surprises me is how did this clown get the radio's in the first 
place??? Any "REPUTABLE" dealer would ask for a call sign BEFORE
selling the radio to him! Was this person a ham?? "VERY DOUBTFUL"!
I'm NOT condemning the cheap radios as I know some in our club have them 
and like them BUT if they are that easily reprogrammed........
   Yes ANY radio can be modified if one knows what to do but the 
inexpensive cost means, like in the article, I believe it stated he had 
14 such radios!
