All:

What: Central States VHF Society Annual Conference
Where: Denver Marriott Westminster: 7000 Church Ranch Blvd, Westminster, CO
When: Thursday July 23rd thru Sunday July 26, 2015

The Central States VHF Society will hold its Annual Conference in the Denver area this year, hosted by Rocky Mountain Ham Radio. This is an opportunity to meet and greet VHFers from the central and mountain states and attend a conference that features the latest in VHF+ equipment, techniques and practices. The conference will feature a banquet, luncheons, a hospitality suite, technical programs, noise figure measurement, antenna range, Rover vehicle show and tell and a Thursday evening tailgate party. A Sunday "VHF 102" introduction geared to newcomers to weak signal operation on the VHF+ bands will be held in conjunction with RMHam University and is designed to encourage younger hams to get involved in DX’ing and contesting. I encourage anyone interested in operating in the VHF+ bands to attend.

The conference registration web page is located at :

http://2015.csvhfs.org/

For those who desire to stay at the hotel, a special hotel room rate of $109 per night has been negotiated with the Marriott and this rate will be available 3 days prior to and three days after the conference . To make hotel reservations, go to the link above and select "Registration", then "Host Hotel Reservations".

Rocky Mountain Ham Radio is proud to have the CSVHFS conference back in Colorado and to host one of the preeminent Amateur Radio VHF+ gatherings in the nation. This conference has been held annually since 1965; the conference proceedings will be published by the ARRL and can be ordered by attendees or separately directly from the League.

I hope to see many of my friends and acquaintances from across the Colorado Amateur Radio community in attendance.

73,

Jeff, K0RM
President,
Rocky Mountain Ham Radio
