As announced at our monthly meeting last night, the PRA is in need of
operators for the Boy Scout Camporee on Saturday, September 19th at
Peaceful Valley Ranch.  The PRA has been invited to put on a demonstration
to over 2000+ scouts from the Denver Metro and Colorado Springs areas. This
is a great opportunity to introduce our wonderful hobby to the youth and
adults of our area and showcase our capabilities and technological
advancements.

We are planning to set up in the evening of Friday, September 18th, and
operating from Saturday morning the 19th, starting approximately 7AM, for
as long as we are able.

To make this a successful event, we need your help, skills, and abilities.
If you are able to participate, please respond directly to this email with
times you are available and the type of gear you may be able to showcase
and demonstrate.  We are planning a couple HF setups, DMR, D-Star, solar PV
power, etc. If you are unable to provide equipment, no worries...we can
always use an extra canopy, table, coax, and chairs.  Most importantly,we
need your hands and presence to make it successful.

Responses needed by end-of-day, *Thursday, 8/20*, so that we can provide a
list of names to the event organizers for the appropriate passes can be
distributed for us regarding pass lists and parking.
