[PPRAANet] Special Event Station -- PPRAA's 75th Anniversary

Hi to all Members,

The PPRAA's 75th Anniversary Special Event Station on Saturday, July 12, 2014 was a success in spite of the inclement weather.  We had 56 QSO's in about five hours with a total of seven operators and ten attendees.  There were three stations operating.

2m   4 - FM  &  3 - USB
10M  3  -  CW
15M  5  -  CW
20m 35 -  USB
30m   6 -  CW

We had local contacts as well as around the country, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Hawaii.

The PPRAA board wants to think all who participated in the event as well as helping with the planning.  Thanks to all who gave us a QSO.  Special thanks to Jim, K3ILC for his fine work on CW.  

In addition to the special event station significant progress was made on the club station.  The gate to the club station area was finished as well as the flooring inside the station.  Tables and chairs were set up for three operating stations.

We have several photos and will get them in the Zero-Beat at the end of the month.
