Thanks, Dick, for the heads-up on the freq and congrats(!) on the 
contact.  Long path and short path are pretty close since they're 
halfway around the world.  I tried to listen in but the wife came home 
and we went out for dinner.  (Wife first / radio second.)
Unfortunately, as a general class license holder, I can't contact them.  
They're just a bit below 14.225.  I guess I have more incentive to go 
for extra.

I just got them on 14.185 (QSX at 14.193) but he sure wasn't strong. Up 
and down.

Beam heading was best at 23 degrees.  Strange.  But he was loud enough 
for me to
hear him say "W0RAA, Thanks for 599 in COLO".

But life goes on.  These guys have great ears.
