It depends on what you want to use it for. I have a GPS built into my Prius - hi hi

We have used the Garmin Oregon and Colorado, but that's usually for geocaching. Although Dan has used his Oregon for navigation in the car when he's traveling. We also use our iPhones with Google maps or the Apple's maps. 

A good place to check is with REI. They have a data sheet with a bunch of GPS's and a comparison of what features they have. You can probably find this on their website as well as the store. Do a Google search - I bet there's lots online.
