FYI

For those of you that are not aware of the issue with the PPFMA wide
coverage 146.97 and 448.45 repeaters, they were temporarily shut down while
a new roof was being applied to the building housing the repeaters.
Unfortunately the roof repairs were interrupted by nasty weather which has
extended the outage from the expected couple week to a month, into this long
outage extending over many months.

PPFMA is trying to gain access to the top of the mountain to determine if a
location for a temporary antenna is available.

Dan

Here is an update concerning the PPFMA's Pikes Peak repeaters.

I have been staying in communications with my contacts for Pikes Peak.
We still are unable to go to the summit to scout out a possible location for
a temporary antenna (the roof is still not repaired).

So I'm in a "holding pattern" just waiting for the weather to clear and the
road to be cleared so I can go up there. It will not be this week.

So we just keep waiting.....

73, Mike, K0TER
