I am requesting any opinions or guidance about how to search for a lost
radio.

I drove out last night to go purchase the headset and antenna from Chris
Stark. I was sure I threw the black Yaesu VX-7R into the car. But, when I
got to Chris's I could not find it. My husband asked me if I put it on top
of the car as I loaded my rain coat and computer into the back seat. Now, I
am worried I drove off with it still on the roof.

It should have hit the street very quickly since my driveway has a drop
down as I back into the road, and I turned right very shortly after that.

If someone picked it up and took it to a pawn shop, do they know to report
it as stolen?

I did not engrave a driver's license number into it, so not really anything
traceable about it.

Any advice you could provide would be helpful.
