[PPRAANet] Abbreviating "Colorado Springs"

Hi Dick.
Thanks for the advice, I think COLO SPGS should work in most cases.
This is for my new one tube "AC-1" transmitter which doesn't have a keyer. I have a couple of other rigs with built-in keyers where it's not a problem. I was blasting the airwaves with my chirpy 1 watt signal, and a guy in Seattle W7UUF just barely heard me, but by the time I finished sending COLORADO SPRINGS CO, my signal had faded way too much and we ended up with no QSO...
Doug.

So a 5NN is adequate and followed by ur call, just to make sure they got it. In a regular QSO, just say 'Tnx for the call. UR 5NN in CO CO = Op is DOug Doug. HW? de W0UHU K". Keep it short & abbreviate when possible.
