There was an error in the first printing of the ARRL Calendar. We tried to 
get all of them recalled, but evidently some got out the door.

That is quite interesting. It IS the "ARRL Field Day" so it IS up to the 
ARRL to decide what weekend it will be.

However, here is their description, copied from their website....
"Field Day is always the fourth full weekend of June, beginning at 1800 UTC 
Saturday and running through 2059 UTC Sunday. Field Day 2014 is June 28-29, 
2013."

As you can see, they are saying that Field Day 2014 will be in 2013. And, 
the First of June 2014 is a Sunday, making that NOT the first full weekend.

Per the ARRL's own description, Field Day 2014 should be June 28 - 29, 2014, 
as that is the fourth FULL weekend in June.

I am copying this to HQ ARRL, so they can take whatever steps they may want 
to in order to correct this little anomaly!

At the Christmas dinner/meeting last night, they gave away an ARRL calendar 
as a door prize,  which they said was a misprint, as it showed the ARRL 
Field Day as happening on June 21st weekend and not the June 28th weekend.

I checked my CQ calendar and found that they also indicated that FD was on 
the 21st & not the 28th.  So, I can only assume the ARRL calendar is not a 
misprint or a future collectors item.  Hi Hi.
