I thought it was a fun contest too.  I really enjoyed the 15 meter
opening and a bit of 10-meters.  Like Gordon, I am restricted to
working less than a full 180-degrees to the east, so hearing KH, KL,
and asia, plus hear people working them does get a tad annoying!  LOL

I only had time for 50 contacts before having to head out-of-town to
enjoy this hurricane raging on the other side of the thin piece glass
at the hotel.
