[PPRAANet] Help picking out a new radio

Dear all Amateur Radio afficianados,

I just bought a "new" 2008 Toyota Tacoma pickup for, well, pickup stuff.

I want to install a small, remote faced radio in it. I am leaning toward 
the Icom IC-208H, but am thinking that maybe D-Star is worth looking 
into; in which case the Icom ID-880H would be a good choice.

My question is, what are your opinions on these radios, and do any of 
you have a radio that you think I'd like, that you are willing to part 
with?

I'd like to install a nice dual-band ham rig, XM Radio, and CB and am 
looking to minimize the dashboard impact of them all.
