The Google thing is an April Fool's joke. However, if you have an iPhone that is jailbroken, then you can use the iDitDahText app, which is not a joke. The reason you have to jailbreak the phone is that Apple normally prevents an application from interacting with the touchscreen in the way that is needed to make it work.
