[PPRAANet] PSKfest

PSKfest was a fun contest I stumbled across while I was setting up 
digital modes Friday evening.  After setting up FLdigi and getting it 
integrated with N1MM, I started hunting around some digital contacts to 
give it a try and found zillions of calling CQ PSKfest.

Before jumping into the contest I wanted to figure out how to optimize 
the audio from the sound card.  On the Flex and I assume many other rigs 
there is a Mic (Db) meter, that if you speck and the meter goes in the 
read you can be distorting your signal.  I figured it was the same for 
digital modes.  What do you know, I must have been right because 
everyone gave me 599 reports!

Operating an hour or two couple I had:
     40-Meters:    46 contacts
     States/Providences 1, Countries 2  Total Score 1426

Much of the time I spent figuring out what to program into the function 
keys and getting comfortable with psk31 again and digital modes.  It has 
been a few years since I had digital running and a contest sure is a 
great, and quick, way to figure out how to make every thing play together.
