[PPRAANet] Hams interested in forming a 10-10 group

Hi Dave. Hope all is well in Richmond.

I wasn't suggesting that the new Chapter be named the Pikes Peak Chapter. I was just pointing out to Mike that there used to be a Chapter by that name. I don't like the name "Quarter-Master Chapter". What is that supposed to signify?

Happy Easter.

73,

Dick

Unless 10-10 has change something you will need to call it something different. A few years ago I wanted to start a local chapter and they told me the only way to use the same name "Pikes Peak Chapter" was to have a record of the number given to every number. The group at that time said they wanted the old name. I spent several months trying to run down a database. Located a partial in Arizona but never did find a database of all assigned numbers. I still have my 'place mat' (picture of Pikes Peak) with chapter number on it. Hope that you can come up with a good plan.
Their is a local chapter 'Colorado Quarter-Master' and the chapter head is Richard Moore KC0CMZ and he lives in Widefield. His email is listed on QRZ. I just checked and it was de-afiliated in Feb 2010. So, I guess that Richard had stopped having nets and didn't make his reports. When I lived there I had to call him and remind him about reports.

  Good luck,

Count me in Mike. My 10X number is 23811. I've had it since before dirt
    was here. Hi Hi.

There used to be a 10X Chapter here in the Springs, but, as you know, it no
longer exists. I think it was called the Pikes Peak Chapter.

Keep me informed on the progress.
