Subject: [Rmvhf] New Roof Install-NO BEAMS YET

We now have a new roof but no beams back up yet.

We had to remove the roof top tower, with the expert assistance of Mike, K6AER.

Mike did a wonderful job removing the roof tower and antennas.

While I am at a huge contesting disadvantage right now without any beams but my hopes of a guyed tower before winter are hopeful.

BTW, if anyone needs a new roof that's been damaged by wind, hail or flying cows, I found a great roofer. He replaced several roofs in the neighborhood and is a local company with a good BBB rating.

The roofer worked with the insurance company adjuster to include the cost of the tower/antenna removal. Labor, crane, etc.

We have enough funds to re-install the tower. Thank goodness for a great roofer who helped me push for the appropriate funds.

If anyone needs a new roof or thinks they may have some storm damage, please call Sean Harper at 1-DERFUL ROOFING 720-933-0524 (cell)

Make sure you mention my name and let him know your a Ham Operator. He will take good care of you.

Hope to see everyone on the air once the new tower is up.

  Very 73
  Rick Spiegel
