LOL! I "replied all" from Wes Wilson's email in order to get the list
email addresses, but forgot to change the subject. DOH! Sorry Wes! I
promise I'm not new to Email; just not focusing on the details this morning.

All ARES and PPRAANet members: (my apologies for list duplications)
The holiday season is upon us! I am looking for volunteers to help serve
the Salvation Army with their dinners on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
This year we need a minimum of ten operators to support each event
(Thanksgiving and Christmas) in order to provide full coverage. It'd be
great to have twelve to fifteen in order to provide some relief
operators during the event.
Also this year, the Salvation Army is adding another location. 501 Weber
Street, which Alma's assistant called the "Salvation Army Fellowship
Hall". Off the top of my head I can't think of a good tactical for that,
but I digress... My point is that instead of six locations, this year we
will be supporting seven. Those seven locations, a Net Control with
alternate, and the coordinator, makes a minimum of ten positions that
need to be filled for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year's
locations/positions are...
- 501 S. Weber
- Salvation Army Headquarters
- Fountain Valley Senior Center
- Manitou Springs Town Hall
- Marian House
- Salvation Army Mobile Canteen
- New Song Fellowship
- Net Control (work from home)
- Alternate Net Control (work from home)
If you'd like to volunteer please reply to this message as soon as
possible. If you have a location preference, be sure to include that
information.
FYI: This is my first attempt at coordinating service event and I am
open to suggestions and encouragement. I am also open to having a
co-coordinator position, as two heads are better than one.
Please direct any questions, concerns or desires to volunteer to me.
