Was wondering if anyone is going to be doing anything for Field Day this 
year.  If nothing else comes along I will be doing a home station under 
emergency power here.

While typing this I was also wondering if anyone has anything good or 
bad to say about a Stepper IR
3 or 4 element beam being used in Colorado.  There is a long shot at 
this time that I may be installing one here to replace the TH6DXX that 
is up on the tower now.   I am also looking at maybe a new rig for the 
station and the FTDX5000 has caught my eye but then again I keep looking 
at the ICOM 7700 but would sure miss the 2nd separate VFO that I enjoy 
with the 1000MP.
