Hi all!
I didn't see who might have raised their hand that they would help with this so I'm sending this out to all. Please contact Larry directly if you can help. Someone needs to take the lead on this so we make sure we have enough support for him and one person for him to contact. Although Dan and I would LOVE to do this, we're out of town that weekend.
See notes below for location. Yes, they will have power at start and finish and yes, they have liability insurance. Larry Valentine Phone 635-4160
Thanks all! Hope to see many of you on Saturday!

Hi Pam,
Great news! Your organizations help would be much appreciated.
Where: Sturman Road, Woodland Park. From Woodland Park take Highway 67 towards Deckers. Approximately 1/2 mile after turning onto Highway
97 turn left the traffic signal which is Evergreen Heights or County Road (depending on the map). Continue one mile to the "T" which is
Sturman Parkway, turn left and proceed to the gate (start line).
Date/Time: August 1st, 8:30 am. We expect to be finished no later than 5:00 pm...hopefully sooner depending on how smooth the event goes.
Personel: Two radio units, one each for the start and finish. At least one or two people per radio unit depending on what you would be comfortable
with. The checkpoints on the course will be staffed by our members with CSCC radios.
If more of your association members would like to attend they would be welcome but would have to park at either the start or finish as parking is rather limited. The course is one mile long and as with most hillclimbs only short sections can be seen at any one time.
Thanks for you help, Larry Valentine.

PPRAA Officers And Board Members,
I am Larry Valentine of the Colorado Springs Corvetter Club. On August 1, we are sponsoring a hillclimb in Woodland Park. Some years ago we ran hillclimbs in which a group called REACT would volunteer comunications at the start and finish line of our events. I'm not sure the group still exists but was wondering if your organization would be interested in helping us for the upcoming event. We would provide comunications for the course workers but are in need of dependable start/finish link.
Thanks, Larry Valentine, 719-635-4160.
