[PPRAANet] Contest weekend

This weekend, Feb 20-21, 2010, is the ARRL International DX Contest for CW. 
It starts at 0000 UTC Saturday (5 PM Local, Friday night) and runs till 2400 
UTC Sunday (5 PM Sunday night), for a total of 48 hours.  You can operate 
all or any part of the 48 hours.

You don't need to be a CW whiz to operate in this contest, and if you need 
some entities to add to your DXCC accumulated total, this would be a good 
way to get them.  W/VE stations can work DX only (KH6, KL7, CY9 & CY0 all 
count as DX).  DX stations work only W/VE stations.  W/VE stations send 
report (5NN) and State or Province.  DX stations send report (5NN) and 
Power.

I hope that we will have some representation from the PPRAA on the bands 
during the contest.  You can use 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 & 10 meter bands.  WARC 
bands are never used in a contest.  In addition to adding to your DX count, 
you will also sharpen your CW skills.  So, it's a Win-Win weekend!

Come join the fun.  It's going to be too cold to cut the yard anyway, so you 
may as well be in a fun contest.
