The Salvation Army Christmas Dinner Mission plan is complete and can

If you aren't sure which one to get, go for the first one.
We were a few people short this year so we are having to support the
Mitchell High School Mobile Canteen via cell phone. At the last
minute, Jim Bishop's (KDØKQL) schedule freed up and he was able to
volunteer for Spoken Word, so they are going to have a Ham at their
location for part of the day.
We still need one or two volunteers who are willing to serve as relief
net control stations for Sid. He has committed to the entire day, but
if you don't mind sitting near your radio for a part of the day, it'd
be nice to have at least one relief NCS to allow Sid a break or two.
If you'd like to volunteer for any of the locations, or serve as a
relief NCS, please contact me at 719 357-MAGNUM (6246), or
phillip at N0tan.com.
One last note, we are running packet stations between Yuma and Weber
in order to keep the large amount of transportation requests off of
the net. Mike Stansberry (KØTER) is running the Yuma packet station
and my daughter Daly (KCØPAW) is serving as his helper/runner. I am
running the Weber packet station and ordered a TNC for my radio, but
it won't be delivered until after Christmas. Mike was kind enough to
loan me a TNC for the day, which saved me a trip to Denver and $200.
Thanks Mike!
Thanks also to everyone who volunteered, and have a Merry Christmas!
