For under $30, you can buy a 750 watt step up/step down transformer. Check
it out: http://www.buy

Subject: [PPRAANet] Help with Alinco MVE Power Supply Input Conversion...
I ordered two Alinco MV Power Supplies from two different vendors
online. The one from Gigaparts is still back-ordered, but one that I
ordered from an EBay seller came in yesterday. Due to a lack of research
on my part, the one I ordered on EBay is the DM-330MVE. The one I need
is a DM-330MVT. The difference is European 220V vs. American 120V.
So the issue is this. I have a nice new power supply for my Go Kit, but
it only has the 220V / 50Hz input. My question to you electronics
experts is, how hard do you think it'd be to convert it to 120V / 60Hz?
I don't mind hosing the warranty, since they are so hard to get right
now. I just need one in order to get a Go-Kit ready for the hill climb.
TIA
