[PPRAANet] [Fwd: tower laws in Colorado Springs]

When I bought my house in 1984 there was a restriction (HOA) for no antennas
to be seen from the street. There are several towers in the area that have
been there for a long time. I have at least three antennas that can be seen
from the street. Restrictions also on what type of fence could be on the
front and the color of houses. None of this has been enforced. I do NOT
think there is a HOA in existence. This is in the Widefield area at the top
of the hill in what is called Sunrise Ridge. It is in the county has all the
FD, PD, snow removal, water is from Widefield, Electricity from Fountain and
gas is from Black Hills. In the portion that I live in we are above
everything in the area (Fountain, Ft. Carson, Security, Colorado Springs,
etc.). Closest major intersection (I can see it out my back window) Fountain
Blvd and Powers Blvd). Ft Carson is easy access through back gate (gate 20).
The Evans Army Hospital during non prime time is about 15 minutes. PX and
Commissary might be 20 minutes.

Check out Stratmoor Hills on the north side of B Street down near Ft.
Carson. I don't think they have covenants there (they didn't when I lived
there) and it is in the County, not the city. Has good Fire protection. I
had a 50' tower when I lived there.
