[PPRAANet] Lighting hit me

Well it happen today.  I had the lighting hit.  It chose a dual band J-pole.
The antenna is made by Arrow Antenna. I now have burn marks all along the
house were the cable ran.  I think that the antenna and the cable are toast.
I had used 10ga wire for my ground.  I believe that 6ga would not have been
big enough.  I have two Poly Phaser but they have not been installed yet.  I
have seven antennas and only two of the impulse suppressor at $60's a piece.
I have not thought as to where they should go, yet.  

 

The lighting took out one RS-50 power supply. It took out my my home
computer system with HP printer and external hard drive.  It took out my big
screen TV.  

 

My Radios are just fine. Ha ha
