[PPRAANet] Icom 740 HF for sale

I acquired this HF radio thru my brothers wife's  deceased dad.  He was not a 
ham and as far as I can tell this radio has not  been modified in any way.  I 
have checked this radio on the air with two  local well know hams, Dick 
Thompson, W0raa and Steve Sawyer, Kt0dx and both of  them said the radio sounds 
good.  It has the stock mic and it has a  matching speaker but because I don't 
have a patch cord I don't know if the  speaker works, again I have no reason why 
it wouldn't.  The only thing  missing on the radio is the push button for the 
RIT.  The RIT does work  because all you have to do until you can find one is 
use a pen and just push the  button in and it works.  There are some 
scratches, nothing major, the front  face looks good except for the missing RIT 
button.  

It would be a  good starter HF base unit for a new ham and all I want is 
$250.00 cash.   Yes you can hear the radio on the air, ten meters is all I can do 
as I am a Tech  Plus.
