The Yaesu ATAS-120 Active Tuning Antenna System provides HF/VHF/UHF =
coverage
with automatic motorized tuning. It is the successor to the popular
ATAS-100. Utilizing control signals from the transceivers microprocessor
received via the coaxial cable, the ATAS-120's internal motor adjusts =
the
radiator length for best SWR. The ATAS-120 covers the 7, 14, 21, 28, 50, =
144
and 430 MHz amateur bands and is compatible with the FT-100, FT-847, =
FT-897,
and FT-897D. If you are living in an apartment, townhouse or other =
location
where you do not have space to install an antenna you might consider the
ATAS-120. Brand new, the Antenna costs about $300.00.

75-80 meter Ham Stick, 6 weeks old. Asking $25.00

When these mobile HF antennas were first introduced by WD4BUM, they =
created
quite a stir in the amateur antenna industry because of their unique low
profile design and outstanding performance. Since that time they have =
been
copied and imitated by other manufacturers, but none have improved upon =
the
original HAM STICK=AE design! These two-piece MONOBAND ANTENNAS consist =
of a
hollow fiberglass base section approximately 1/2 inch diameter with the
loading coil wound directly on the fiberglass and covered with PVC =
shrink
tubing. The plated brass base fitting has 3/8 inch X 24 TPI male threads
that fit most amateur mobile mounts. The top section is a tapered 17-7 =
PH
tempered Stainless Steel whip that telescopes into the base section for
frequency adjustment. It is secured by two set screws. The assembled,
adjusted antenna will be approximately 7 feet long. High mounting on the
vehicle is desirable and not a problem because the antenna is VERY =
resilient
and will withstand abuse that would destroy conventional metal antennas. =
No
spring or guy wiring is required. Brand new, the antenna costs about =
$34.00.
