I just happened to notice that the Quality Connections Holiday 2008 edition 
(a rather large/thick booklet of coupons via US Mail) has a coupon for 
Golden Corral - Dinner Buffet $7.99 with purchase of beverage, good for up 
to 4 adults. It expires on 12/11/08, the day after our Christmas party.

I don't know what their regular price is now, but I would imagine this could 
help. Even though they may be adding on gratuity (for our "large party"), I 
would think they would accept the coupons, even though some places don't 
accept coupons for large parties. Here are the printed caveats:

"Tax & gratuity not included. Sharing not allowed. Not valid with any other 
offers or coupons. Not valid on holidays. Dine in only."   (Nothing that 
should exclude our use of the coupons.)
