[PPRAANet] Field Day

Hi all,

Field Day is next weekend with setup starting around noon, Friday the 
27th of June.  Assuming the trucks are not in use, we will be using them 
for tower setup!  At noon Saturday the contest portion starts and runs 
till noon Sunday; followed by tear down.

We will need night-time operators! If you like burning the midnight oil, 
please make yourself known!!!!

Educational programs are a new aspect to Field Day.  Planned educational 
events include:
    D-STAR live demonstration
    Red Cross - tentative - intro to classes
    Amateur Radio - Licensing and advancement

Other activities will include:
    El Paso County Mobile Communication and Control Center
    Geocaching for all ages
    NVIS experimentation
    (We are looking for more family oriented activities, if you has 
something you'd like to volunteer to share please send me an email)

Additional parking will be available in the adjacent bowling ally.  
Please park in the area closet to the fire station. Also, the bowling 
ally is open this year so if you want another activity this could make 
for a fun near-by activity.
