[PPRAANet] Saturday's hamfest

To everyone that helped out and supported the hamfest, including the VE 
team, just wanted to pass along Steve's (K0SRW) comment (below) about 
Saturday's hamfest.  And my thanks also to everyone that helped!

Steve's comment was very welcome, given that we got a late start, and I'm 
sure we could've done better had we started earlier (although I wonder how 
much of an effect the spiraling gas prices played this year, or will play 
next year).  We will have a hamfest planning meeting at the club picnic on 
August 16 to start planning the 2009 Megafest.

And we definitely need more people involved.  I offered to coordinate the 
planning provided we have more people helping.  We really need about 10 - 15 
people helping out.  The more that get involved, the simpler it is for each 
individual to handle one task, rather than having a few people try to juggle 
several dozen tasks.  So I'd like EVERYONE to thinking about helping out in 
some way in the planning stages.  Steve's welcome comments give us the 
incentive to have a better 'fest next year.

The picnic is on August 16, and we'll likely have the meeting portion some 
time around 1300 (1 pm).

Thanks for your help guys!  Great Megafest!!!  I saw lots of folks I hadn't
seen for quite awhile.  Looked like people were having fun!!!  I sold a
