I don't know what Dick did but I've found out in the past that if you type a
call sign say into QRZ and when you insert the zero with a slash thru it it
will come back and say none listed. So then I tried it without the slash
thru the zero and there it was. This is just something for all to remember as
once in a great while we have a brain fade and forget to leave out the slash
in the zero. I have several times and at my age I am forgetting more each
day, hai hai.....Hope all is doing fine and having a great Sunday.

Really strange, Wes. I looked, initially, to see where he lived here in the
Springs. When I went to the ARRL web site and typed in N0ABC, it came back
and said "No such call". So, I went to QRZ.COM, typed in N0ABC, clicked on
Callsign. Same results, namely "N0ABC is not in our database." So I
figured that maybe he just got his call.

After receiving your e-mail, I went back to check again. He's there. I
cannot understand why he didn't show up the first time. Go figure.

I apologize to Dennis if there was any implied meaning in my question.
There wasn't. Darned if I can figure that one out. I hope the whole day
isn't going to go the same way. :)

Thanks for letting me know and forcing me to recheck.

Again, I have no explaination as to why he didn't show up on either site the
first time. I did send him a website that may have the cable he is looking
for. It's www.cablewholesale.com, and they have very reasonable pricing on
cables and a multitude of other stuff. I know Radio Shack gets an arma nd a
leg for gender changes. This place get $2 or so for them.

Thanks for the information.

He's in both the FCC ULS database and QRZ.com, not sure why you were unable
to find him.
