This afternoon I had an appointment with one of my Cardiologists, and he 
said that if no further complication occur, he will implant my new pacemaker 
on Friday, the day after Christmas.  That means that as long as no cultures 
grow in the blood that is drawn, it's a go!  How ironic.  When my first 
pacemaker was implanted back in 2001, it was the day after Christmas.  Is 
that an omen or what?  He said that he would not be rushed to do it, and I 
agree.  Although I'm extremely tired due to the lack of circulation of blood 
in my system, as well as being cold a lot of the time, and not sleeping well 
at night, he said most of those things will disappear when the pacemaker is 
implanted.  I recall feeling like a new person when he put my first one in. 
Hopefully the results will be the same after this one is put in.
