There are two web sites that have full copies of ARRL 1936 and 1941
Amateur Radio Handbook, QRP projects, Editors and Engineers amateur
Radio Handbooks, etc.

Two books that any QRPer should have are the Crystal Sets to Sideband
by KO1YE and the QRP projects book.

These books are free for download legal out of date copywrite

Crystal Sets to Side Band by Frank W. Harris K01YE

Frank includes complete design techniques and circuits to build a
total Solid State ham station. He provides the theory and then the
actual circuits. A must read for

any QRP builder.

Additional books at tech-systems for free download are :

Amateur Radio Handbook 1959 Editors and Engineers

Surplus Schematics Handbook

Projects for QRP

http://www.pmillett.com/tecnical_books_online.htm

The above site has the following:

These are worth downloading just for the catalog section in the back

Radio Amateur's Handbook, American Radio relay League, 1936, 536 pages

Radio Amateur's Handbook, American Radio relay League, 1941, 552 pages

Another Editors and Engineers amateur radio handbook

The Radio Handbook, Editors and Engineers, 7th edition 1940, 608 pages

The above texts cover everything from the birth of ham radio –
history, antenna, glowbug receivers and transmitters to modern day
solid state.

These are how to do books so get out your soldering iron for this
