W6OI SPECIAL EVENT

The 4th annual W6OI Special Event will be held starting at 0001Z on
24 Nov and ending at 2400Z 25 Nov. The Special Event has designated
10-10 members in all US call areas operating W6OI. The purpose of the
Special Event is to have fun, keep ten meters active and advertise 10-10.
Special Event QSL cards are available for each call area worked and a
free certificate will be given to operators that work all call areas. 
For the
first time the new Canadian 10-10 club station VE9TEN will be on from
multiple locations. Stations working VE9TEN can count it as a wild card
for a US call area if needed to qualify for the certificate. Ten-Ten members
operating W6OI are:
First Call Area: N1YF - NN1J - WA1LAD - NZ1I
Second Call Area: W2BOC - N2EOC - WA2SUH
Third Call Area: N3EJS - K3TUJ - N3TGB

These members are giving up part of their weekend to host the Special
Event. Please, as time permits and conditions warrant, listen for these
stations. They would be delighted to give you a contact. QSL requests
for US contacts go to K5CC and for Canadian contacts to VE9KM.
