Subject: ARRL Rocky Mountain Division Election
Hello Friends,
We've all received recent email reminders about the upcoming ARRL Rocky Mountain Division Director and Vice-Director elections. By now, you should have received your ballot in the US Mail from the ARRL, and many of us have already cast our votes. For those that have not yet voted, I want to encourage you to do so immediately, as the ballots must be received at the ARRL no later than November 16th. Allowing for US Mail delivery, time is getting very short!
I especially want to thank Jeff Ryan, K0RM for his continuing years of visionary and multi-faceted service to the ARRL, and for his remarkable leadership and presence in the ARRL Colorado Section. If it's happening in Colorado, and it has to do with ham radio, my experience is that we've always been able to count on Jeff's support, skills and all-important presence and involvement.
He's a strong and passionate advocate for ham radio, has broad support in the Rocky Mountain Division, and at the national level as well. He has a lengthy and successful track record, and is uniquely qualified to lead the Rocky Mountain Division as its next Director. Jeff was also a key player in bringing the ARRL Rocky Mountain Division Convention back to Colorado as Colorado HAMCON. Take a look at Jeff's website, http://www.k0rm.net for a very modest summary of Jeff's work and passion, and I think you'll agree.
Jeff knows the issues, and has the strong abilities and unwavering passion to get them addressed.
I hope you'll consider your vote for Jeff Ryan.
In closing, I do want to say how very grateful I am for the quality, leadership and passion of each of our Director and Vice-Director candidates. As a division, we should take great pride in these great strengths ... I know that I do.
73,
Steve
