[PPRAANet] Thursday Net Might Be Discontinued

Hello members.
We have been struggling to find volunteers to do the Thursday night net =
for
over a year now.  One of our volunteers who did the net the first and =
second
week has resigned, which just leaves Jim Harris and myself to bear the =
load.
Jim has been doing a great job of the net for a number of years and he =
needs
a rest.  As the net coordinator, I try to ensure that there is someone =
who
will do the net every Thursday.  When there are no volunteers, I do the =
net
if I can.  Due to my work schedule, I can=92t guarantee I will be home =
in time
for the net and I can=92t continue to keep asking Jim all the time.  =
Therefore
I am asking if there are any of the 150 plus club members who are =
willing to
step forward and help fill the void. Once a week, about 45 minutes of =
your
time is what it takes.  If no assistance is found, I will recommend at =
the
next club meeting that the Thursday net be discontinued due to lack of
support.  We simply need more volunteers to run the net and it would
certainly help if more members were able to check in on the net as well.
The net is 7PM on Thurdays on the GGARC repeater 146.91, pl 151.4.
