I whole heartily agree! I have not ever nor do I now enjoy this thing called
"daylight saving" time.
I am back to having to turn lights on in the morning instead of enjoying the
light of the dawn.

Subject: Re: [PPRAANet] Update info for Time Change on Sunday
Somebody forgot to tell my critters that the US Congress decided to make us
all start an hour earlier yesterday. In fact, yesterday the sun ignored the
law and gave us a spectacular show on its own schedule. In spite of the
government's best efforts, the sun came up according to it's own schedule
today and the critters woke up with the solar alarm clock. The daytime
temperature rose as the sun did, but since those who know best decided to do
something ineffective instead of putting together a real energy plan, I had
to light a fire when I got up because it was still cold. Compare that to
Friday morning when I did not need a fire because it was already warming up
outside when I dragged myself out of bed.
I'd feel more warm and fuzzy if there were any reliable studies showing any
energy savings to offset the additional costs and aggravation to those of us
who are already sleep-deprived or if I thought for half a second that there
were more than a handful of folks in government who ever had to stagger out
of bed and start work before sunrise on a regular basis.
My rant for the month!!!
