I would like to thank everyone who responded to my latest inquire.  A nice
gentleman gave me a large selection of QST magazines, one of which had the
article I was interested in.  

 

I can't begin to tell everyone how thankful I am for the number of responses
I've received.  The article I was looking for was suppose to be about a
motorized antenna mount.  There is a motorized mount for sale  at $150 or
so.  That's more than I want to spend at this time.  I have figured  if I
were to find a small DC motor with low speed and high torque that should do
the trick.  I have some ideas how I want to build a mount.

 

The makers of the ATA120 antenna say it's suppose to be above the roof line.
The problem, I would have to R and R the antenna every time I put the truck
in the garage unless I come up with a mount.  I have some bevel gears that
look like they would do the trick.
