[PPRAANet] No Code General/Extra - Special VE Session?

Hello,

As you may be aware, the ARRL has found out that the R&O dropping the code 
exam requirement for access to HF is due to be published in the Federal 
Register this Wednesday. This will likely cause the effective date to be 
Friday, 2/23.

As you are also likely aware, the next regularly scheduled VE team session 
is on February 10. Our next session would be seven weeks AFTER the effective 
date of the R&O, and although MARC's next session would be just the week 
after the effective date, the trip up to Woodland Park could be in inclement 
weather! (As though we ever have any of that.)

I would like to know if there is enough interest to warrant holding a 
special session on Saturday 2/24 (provided that 2/23 or 2/24 is the true 
effective date). Please reply back to me (not "all") if you, or someone you 
know, would be interested in testing for an upgrade (or original) license, 
or doing a "paper upgrade" (already holding CSCE for Element 3 and/or 4), 
immediately after the effective date. If I find it warranted, I'm sure I can 
drum up enough of the team's VEs to hold such a session.
