The January VHF Sweepstakes is happening this weekend, starting at 1900 UTC.

I am going to once again try my winter assault on Mt Herman (DM79mb, 
~9000 feet, west of Monument).
It will certainly be more of a challenge this year with all of the snow!

I'd appreciate a contact. Listen for me on 144.200 MHz USB (147.42 MHz 
if you only have FM).
I should be active on 50 MHz, 144 MHz, 222 MHz and 432 MHz,. the usual 
calling frequencies.
