[PPRAANet] PPRAA: public service event help needed

I'm looking for a few Amateur Radio operators to help with a bicycle
event in Buena Vista, CO.

The event is being held on Saturday, May 19.  The ride starts at
0700.

The event is sponsored by the Colorado Springs Cycling Club (CSCC).

Several years ago the Disaster Response Team (DRT) helped with this
event as a form of training.  Our support was well received by
the event coordinators.

Last year, minimal Amateur Radio support was provided which
allowed us to communicate over the Northern part of the course
but not the Southern part.  I've been asked to see if anyone
would like to help with this event.

The CSCC has stated that the club will reimburse travel expenses
for anyone who will help.  Unfortunately, the club cannot
reimburse lodging expenses for anyone who wants to go up the
night before.

The best thing is to contact me if you are interested and I'll
discuss what we need and how we will do it.
