The year is almost over and it has been an interesting and full year. There was the HamCon in Estes Park, this weekend's JOTA, and friends who have passed on and others who nearly did but are with us still. We've seen new hams and established hams upgrade and we have a new board of directors and club officers. On top of all that, there are five more days left before the deadline for submissions to 0-Beat. We still have a little space to fill and it's yours for the asking. However, I would like to devote the final issue this year to a recap of all that is good and memorable about this year, taking stock of where we are and where we've been during this year.
What was special to you about 2006? What will you remember when this year is torn from the calendar? What projects did you attempt? Which ones worked and which ones didn't? Email it all to me at ac0ca at arrl.net or send it to me by snail mail. I'll make sure it gets into the November or December issue. Remember the deadline is 5 PM on October 25th for the November issue and 5 PM on November 25th for the last issue this year. I look forward to reading and sending your stories and pictures, and even your ham jokes, out for everyone to share.
As always...
