Hi,

The FCC has issued the subject report and order that will affect amateur 
radio.  It is to be effective December 15, 2006.  There are several changes 
including a revised band plan, limiting digital bandwidth to 500hz and new 
ID requirements.  Below is a link with more information.

There are major bandplan changes on some bands and some are not affected.  
Especially if you are a CW/digital operator be sure to understand the 
changes.  There is no change is CW code or speed requirement.  When I get a 
better understanding of the new ID requirement I post it here.
