[PPRAANet] Swapfest

Hello!

I wanted to take this opportunity to send a note out on the reflector in an
attempt to find a volunteer who would be willing to serve as this years
Swapfest Chair.  The PPRAA Swapfest has been one of, if not the best Amateur
Radio Swapfests in the region for several years!  This is due to the fact
that there have been club members willing to step up and help out with the
planning, organizing, and executing of this outstanding event.  The Swapfest
is also the ONLY fundraising event that the PPRAA hosts during the year.
Funds raised during the year help operate the club as well as allowing the
club to donate to such things as the Peter I Island DXpedition.

So far this year, nobody has volunteered to be the Swapfest Chair.  This
person would plan and coordinate the Swapfest with the help of several
people who have already volunteered to help, but not as chair.  We also need
a person who is "raffle certified" by the state to serve as the raffle
manager for this event.

Please let me know if you would be willing to serve as the Chairperson for
the 2007 Swapfest ASAP so that the planning process can begin.  Also if you
have the raffle certification from the state and would be willing to be
listed as the raffle manager please let me know as well.
